maybe there is another topic on here for what i need, but i can't find it. I'd appreciate it if anyone can recommend or is aware of some kind of pocket talking calendar. it should be small enough to fit in a purse have a key board to type on and some kind of tone to remind me. I gues I'm saying an accessible teeney weeney day timer that is electronic. am i living in a dream world or dus such a thing exist? as my age advances owning this is becoming vital. maybe i can invent it and ride off to the sunset on an island with sandy beaches, free umbrella drinks, and hot cabana boys.oh darn, maybe not?

Hmmm! Think you're best off with the calendar there, or else, get something like a voice mate organiser. I had one once. It was brilliant. I don't know if you can still get those, but they were available via Cobalt Systems here.

I got ya no need to run out and replace something that isn't broken. Though do to the popularity of pda's and smart phones there hasn't really been much of a markert for the day planners/calenders, your best bet probably will be digging up an older model of one on ebay or something. You can also try checking sites like www.independentliving.com or maxieaids.com to see if they have anything current.

Holly, there is a device called the tapmemmo that I think Independent Living Aids and Maxiaids both sell, I believe. Short of that, the cellphones are the way to go. You can always spend about . $1400 for a Braille Plus or Icon, and get lots of bang for the buck.
